Toon Stig's Reaction: City 3-1 Newcastle

By Toon Stig

The result today was fair considering Man. City won by 2 penalties and had they not been given away, 1-1 could of been the score, continuing our unbeaten run to 12 and a point would have been ours.

We done better than Man. Utd who lost 6-1.
When I saw the line ip I was a bit dubioys to see Sammy Ameobi starting. In my opinion hes not ready for first team football let alone starting in a big game like this. I would have preferred Peter Lovenkrands or Dan Gosling. I feel Sammy needs first team football for a lower league team, so a loan move would be a great benefit.

The team we played are a team that have bought the league whereas spirit and talent has got us where we are. Many seasons ago we would have easily beat them. Money talks and they only have seasons until players are unloyal and they lose all their money. I think if we keep building our team gradually season by season with Pardew in charge, we can win the league and other major trophies.
